During the Civil War stud poker, the draw, and the straight Poker appeared and became very popular. Poker could be played in nearly every town during the Wild West period in the USA. Poker is the only casino game, in which players play against each other, but not against the house. There are a lot of Poker variations, which differ from each other in some features, but still the hierarchy of winning hand combinations remains the same. Nowadays you can play Poker in any casino in nearly any country.
