Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. After the first deal players have to make bets. You must at least call to stay into the game. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. After the second and final deal the betting is about to start. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
