The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. It is pretty much a game of chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.
