A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. It is pretty much a game of chance. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
