Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. There is a betting round after the first deal. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.
