All poker players can be divided into four groups. Belonging to this or that type players have both strong and weak points and all of them have advantages over others in some particular situations.
Each of these types has at least two basic attributes.
Whether the player is loose and play a lot of hands or tight and play very few hands.
If the player is aggressive (raises and bluffs) or passive (calls other players bets).
Loose-Aggressive
In an online poker environment this is the weakest category. This player gambles according to the following principle: he raises after every flop. If playing in a real casino such a strategy works against poor players and allows a player to win only small pots. But in an online casino this strategy will bring nothing but losses. Loose-Aggressive players attract sharks. Sharks let such a player has his small pots, but then they are ready to break this player and win all his money. The only advice here is not to stick to one and the same table. It is better to change tables every 50 hands.
Loose-Passive
The players of this type can also be said to be weak. These players can only make money in a game with a lot of wild players and generally have to depend on luck to have a successful poker session. They typically will simply call the bets of the other players disregarding the Pot Odds or strength of their hand. Unlike other players these ones can stay in the game for a very long period of time. But still even they are not able of beating the house.
Tight-Passive
With the help of bad players at the table players of this type win. The biggest weakness of a Tight-Passive player is that they are so easy to figure out. Such players never bluff. This player is more likely to call the bets of other players or to make small bets. They fold if they have a bad hand.
Tight-Aggressive
This is the best type among all others. These players will only see a flop with a decent hand and will then take a shot at the pot after the flop with a bet.
