> Virtual First Nations Poker Tap Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. There is a betting round after the first deal. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
