The main feature of shared games is the community cards, which are common for all players at the table. Community cards are used by all players. They are used to form the best hand combination. When playing Texas Holdem each player receives 2 cards face down. 5 more cards are dealt face down on the table. They are called community cards. After the deal there is a betting round, after which three community cards are turned up. One more betting round follows. One more table card is flipped, followed by another round of betting. The last card is flipped, a final round if betting ensues, and finally a showdown in which players make their best hands using their two pocket cards and the table's five shared cards. The winner is the player with the highest hand.
