Unlike other poker variations in Texas Holdem there are community cards, which are common for all players in the game. The community cards can be used by all players for forming hands. 2 cards are dealt face down to each player in Texas Holdem. 5 more cards are dealt face down on the table. They are called community cards. A round of betting is held after the deal and three of the table cards are turned up. Another round of betting follows. Then the dealer turns up one more community card and players make bets. The last card is flipped, a final round if betting ensues, and finally a showdown in which players make their best hands using their two pocket cards and the table's five shared cards. The winner is the player with the highest hand.
