> Stud Poker Rules Pick'em Poker is a newer and more unusual variety of video poker, at least compared to the more traditional games of Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild. What's interesting about the game is that it has more in common with stud poker than draw poker, and it has a potentially tremendous payout percentage - 99.95 percent if played with perfect strategy. Unlike other video poker games in Pick'em Poker you will be dealt 8 cards. Two of the cards are face up on the left, and then there are two stacks of three cards each on the right. The top cards of the two right-handed stacks are up, so you can see a total of four cards after the deal. You have to hold the two cards on the left. Those cards are yours to keep until the end of the hand. But you have to decide which of the right sets of cards you want to hold. The other two cards of the tree-card stack will be turned up as soon as you decide which one to hold. So basically, in Pick'em Poker, you're choosing one of two three card hands every round. Two cards on the left and a stack of three cards you have left on the right form a hand.
