The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. There is a betting round after the first deal. You must at least call to stay into the game. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
