There exist at east 4 types of poker players. All these types of players have their own techniques which can be very useful under certain circumstances. Each of these types has at least two basic attributes. Depending on the number of hands the player plays with the players can be either tight or loose. Tight players play few hands and loose players play with a lot of hands. Whether the player is aggressive or passive. An aggressive player raises and bluffs a lot. A passive player prefers to call the bets of other players. Loose-Aggressive Loose-aggressive player is the weakest player especially in online poker game. These players are constantly raising before and after the flop. In a real casino such a strategy will allow to win only small pots, but in online casinos they will be only a flop. Loose-Aggressive players attract sharks. Sharks let such a player has his small pots, but then they are ready to break this player and win all his money. The only way this strategy works is for the player to wander from one table to another approximately every 50 hands. Loose-Passive This is another weak category. The players of this group will gain success if there are a lot of wild players at the table and everything is determined only by luck. They typically will simply call the bets of the other players disregarding the Pot Odds or strength of their hand. Such players can stay in the game longer than anybody else, but they will never be able to beat the house edge. Tight-Passive What allows players of this type to win is other players who play the game wrong. The main weak point is that it is very easy to see and notice such players. Such players never bluff. If this type of player has a decent hand or a lot of outs, he or she will call your bet or make a small bet. They fold if they have a bad hand. Tight-Aggressive This style can be very successful for online play. These players will only see a flop with a decent hand and will then take a shot at the pot after the flop with a bet.
