Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. To play the game of Poker you will need some luck. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game every player has to call. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
