A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. You will the same number of cards instead of those you have thrown away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
