In Stud Poker players receive only some of their cards at the beginning of the game. The rest of the cards are dealt during the betting rounds. The example of Stud Poker is the game with the same name - Stud Poker. In Stud Poker each player receives one card face down and one card face up (5 card stud) or 2 cards down and 1 card up (7 card). The gambler to the dealer’s left starts. After the deal there is a betting round. Each player receives one more card. There is another round of betting and all cards are dealt face up except the last card. The last card is dealt to each player and the showdown occurs. The player with the strongest hand wins.
