Players get only some of the cards in Stud Poker. Players get the rest of the cards during the betting rounds. The example of Stud Poker is the game with the same name- Stud Poker. In Stud Poker each player receives one card face down and one card face up (5 card stud) or 2 cards down and 1 card up (7 card). The player to the dealer’s left begins. After the deal each player makes a bet and receives one more card. There is another round of betting and all cards are dealt face up except the last card. The last card is dealt to each player and the showdown occurs. The player with the strongest hand wins.
