> Standard Straight Poker Call
All poker players can be divided into four groups. All these types of players have their own techniques which can be very useful under certain circumstances. There are at least two main attributes for each of these types. Whether the player is loose and play a lot of hands or tight and play very few hands. Whether the player is aggressive or passive. An aggressive player raises and bluffs a lot. A passive player prefers to call the bets of other players. Loose-Aggressive In an online poker environment this is the weakest category. These players are constantly raising before and after the flop. In a real casino such a strategy will allow to win only small pots, but in online casinos they will be only a flop. Loose-Aggressive players attract sharks. Sharks let such a player has his small pots, but then they are ready to break this player and win all his money. To avoid such results it is better for such players to change tables from time to time. For example, every 50 hands. Loose-Passive The players of this type can also be said to be weak. The players of this group will gain success if there are a lot of wild players at the table and everything is determined only by luck. They typically will simply call the bets of the other players disregarding the Pot Odds or strength of their hand. These players will lose very slowly, often being able to stay in against the other players, but unable to beat the house rake. Tight-Passive What allows players of this type to win is other players who play the game wrong. The biggest weakness of a Tight-Passive player is that they are so easy to figure out. Players of this type never bluff. If this type of player has a decent hand or a lot of outs, he or she will call your bet or make a small bet. They fold if they have a bad hand. Tight-Aggressive This is the best type among all others. They have the following principle of the game: see a flop with a decent hand and then take a shot at the pot after the flop with a bet.
