Deuces Wild is played with a standard deck of cards. In Deuces Wild there are four deuces (2s) which are wild cards Due to the fact the player has the advantage of four deuce wild cards the lowest winning hand for payout is three of a kind. So you will get nothing for making any single or 2 pair hands. Full Houses and Flushes will happen more often as deuces can be used for forming these hands. You can have Five of a Kind. But a hand of four deuces will pay out more.
Deuces Wild Video Poker Tips
Deuce is the only single card you can hold. Throw away a single ace or any high card. Don’t think that they will help you in forming a good hand. Discarding a deuce is forbidden! Only if there is a chance of receiving a natural royal you can do it. Never keep any other card you consider to be high in combination with a deuce. There is no point in keeping any other ‘high’ card with a deuce. Never hold two pair. You must discard one pair (it doesn't matter which) and draw three. As a rule, you don't want to play a machine that has less than a five-for-one payout on four of a kind.
