A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. To play the game of Poker you will need some luck. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game every player has to call. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. After the second and final deal the betting is about to start. After everybody on the table is done with the betting the highest ranked hand wins and gets whatever is in the pot in the middle.
