Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. To play the game of Poker you will need some luck. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You must at least call to stay into the game. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
