Video pokers have always been very popular. 5 card poker is the base of video pokers. Americans have been playing poker since the early 1880s. The first video poker machines didn’t have CGI program, they were represented by regular coin operated machines with cards on drums. These machines came into the scene in the late 1800s, which were manufactured by Sittman and Pitt of Brooklyn. These machines worked very much like the slot machines you see today. The drums were spun by pulling the handle after inserting a coin. The player would put all his faith in luck as the drums stopped. Then if the player had a winning hand he was rewarded with drinks or cigars from the bar. In 1901 the construction of this machine was changed by Charles Fey. He added ‘hold’ and ‘draw’ features to the existing machine. Fey’s addition to the poker machine allowed the role of skill to come into play just as much as luck. The modern video pokers appeared a little later. With the introduction of computers, it was then only a matter of time before Video Poker came about. Video pokers were played by a lot of people. Now you can play video pokers in the internet.
