A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. You have to read the table with the minimum and maximum bets before you play Poker. You can find this table next to the dealer. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After the first deal players have to make bets. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. Afterwards you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to throw away. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
