Players are dealt cards from the very beginning in Draw Poker. Then players can exchange the cards during the course of the game with betting going on throughout. 5 Card Draw is an example of Draw Poker. When playing 5 Card Draw each player is dealt 5 cards face down. During the betting round each player can exchange up to 3 cards. The player who has the strongest hand after the showdown is the winner.
