Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Of course there are professionals in this game, but it will hardly help them to get better cards. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. There is a betting round after the first deal. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
