Royal Flush is formed of A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit. Royal Flush is the best and combination in Poker. If there are no wild cards in the game Royal Flush will beat all other hands. If you play with wild cards the best hand is ‘Five of a Kind’. In most casinos wild cards aren’t used, that’s why Royal Flush is the highest card.
Straight Flush.
A combination of five sequent cards of the same suit makes Straight Flush. ‘Straight Flush’ beats ‘Four of a Kind’ and any lower hand. In the case of several Straight Flushes at the table the card rank of the winning hands is compared. The player with the highest head card wins. ‘Straight Flush’ beats ‘Four of a Kind’ and any lower hand.
Four of a Kind.
’Four of a Kind’ is formed of four cards of the same rank. If more than one player have ‘Four of a Kind’ the rank of the cards is compared. The player with the highest card rank is the winner. Four of a kind beats a full house or any lower hand.
Full House.
“Full House” consists of three cards of the same rank and a pair. If more than one player have ‘Full House’ the rank of the three equal cards is compared. The player with the highest card rank wins. ‘Full House’ beats a flush or any lower hand.
Flush.
Flush consists of five cards of the same suit. The rank of the cards isn’t important. If two players have Flush the rank of their cards is compared. The highest-ranking hand wins if more than one player has Flush. If the highest cards from each player’s hand tie, the next-highest-ranking card determines the winner, and so on. A flush beats a straight or any lower hand.
Straight.
Straight consists of any five sequent cards. The suit of the cards is of no importance. If there are several Straights at the table the head of the combinations is compared. The player with the highest head card wins. A, K, Q, J, 10 is the highest ‘Straight’. 5,4,3,2, A is the lowest ‘Straight’. ‘Straight’ beats ‘Three of a Kind’ or any lower hand.
Three of a Kind.
A combination of three cards of the same rank is called Three of a Kind. If two or more players have ‘Three of a Kind’ the rank of the cards is compared. The player who has the highest-ranking three cards wins. Aces are the highest, twos are the lowest cards. ‘Three of a kind’ beats ‘Two pair’ or any lower hand.
Two Pair.
’Two Pair’ consists of two cards of the same rank, and two matching cards of any other rank. The hand with the highest-ranking pair wins against another hand of two pair. If the highest-ranking pair ties, the hand with the second highest-ranking pair wins. If the pairs in both hands tie, the hand with the highest-ranking fifth card wins. ‘Two pair’ beats any hand with ‘One pair’, or no pair (high card).One Pair.
One Pair consists of two cards of the same rank. If there are several Pairs at the table the rank of the cards is compared. The player with the highest ranking card wins. If both hands have the same pair, the highest-ranking unmatched card in the hand determines the winner. One pair beats any hand with no pair (high card).
